The Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has released the official notification for ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026 to fill 49 Scientist/Engineer vacancies in multiple scientific and engineering disciplines.

This recruitment drive offers a prestigious opportunity for candidates with qualifications such as B.Sc, B.E, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, M.E and Ph.D to join India’s premier space research organisation. The online application process started on 23 January 2026 and will close on 12 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification (Summary)

Candidates must possess the following degrees depending on post:

• Ph.D for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ posts

• M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc (Engg) for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’

• B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc as essential qualification

• Minimum marks:

  • 65% for graduation

  • 60% for post-graduation

Open and Distance Learning (ODL) degrees are not accepted.

Salary Structure

Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’

• Pay Level 11: ₹67,100 – ₹2,08,700

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’

• Pay Level 10: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
