East Godavari District Court Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 06 Posts

The Principal District Court, East Godavari at Rajamahendravaram has released an official notification for the recruitment of 06 contractual posts of Court Assistant and Court Attendant. Eligible candidates who possess the required educational qualifications can submit their applications through offline mode.

The offline application process starts from 02 February 2026 and the last date to submit the application form is 16 February 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Applications received after the due date or without proper documents will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Court Assistant: Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

• Court Attendant: 7th or 10th class pass. Candidates with qualifications above 10th are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 31 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 42 years

• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, and BC candidates

Preference for Retired Judicial Employees

Preference will be given to retired staff from Andhra Pradesh Judicial Department.

• Court Assistant: Retired Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno-Typist, or Field Assistant.

• Court Attendant: Retired Attender or Process Server.

Not eligible if:

• Age exceeds 65 years

• Retired on medical invalidation

• Compulsory retirement or dismissal

Service certificate from the last office is mandatory.

Salary & Benefits

• Court Assistant: Rs. 10,000 per month

• Court Attendant: Rs. 6,000 per month

These are fixed contractual amounts. No additional allowances like DA, HRA, or pension benefits are applicable.
