Arunachal Pradesh PSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 145 Posts

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 145 Assistant Professor posts in Government Colleges under the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Candidates who hold a Master’s degree with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. qualification are eligible to apply online. The online application process started on 23 January 2026 (5:00 PM) and will close on 23 February 2026 (11:00 AM). Applications must be submitted only through the official website appsc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

• 5% relaxation in marks for ST/SC candidates.

Additional Qualification (Any One)

• Qualified NET conducted by UGC/CSIR

• Qualified SLET/SET

• Awarded Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016

• Ph.D. from foreign university ranked among top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU)

Exemption from NET

• Candidates registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 (subject to conditions)

• Candidates awarded Ph.D. under UGC 2009 regulations

• Disciplines where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted

Desirable Qualifications

• Research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

• Teaching or Post-Doctoral experience

• Awards from recognized institutions

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Matrix Level: Level-10

• Monthly Salary: Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400

Selection will be done only through interview (Viva-Voce).

• Total Marks: 100

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50%

• Candidates shortlisted in 1:3 ratio based on academic score (UGC Appendix-II Table 3B)

• Final selection based on interview performance only
