GDCH Kadapa Recruitment 2026 – Senior Resident Walk in Interview

The Government Dental College and Hospital, Kadapa (GDCH Kadapa) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 09 Senior Resident posts under the Directorate of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates who have completed Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from a Dental Council of India (DCI) recognized institution are eligible to attend the walk-in interview scheduled on 09 February 2026. Interested applicants must report in person with original certificates, photocopies, and the required application fee.

Applications are accepted only through walk-in mode, and no online or postal applications will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill all of the following conditions:

• Must possess Master of Dental Surgery (MDS).

• Degree should be obtained from a DCI recognized Dental College/Institution.

• Must have valid Andhra Pradesh State Dental Council Registration.

Non-local candidates having AP Dental Council Registration may also be considered if local candidates are not available.

Local Candidature

A candidate is treated as a local candidate if:

• Studied in Andhra Pradesh from Class 4 to Class 10, or

• Studied in Telangana and migrated to AP after bifurcation, supported by certificates as per G.O.Ms.No. 132 & 133 dated 13-06-2016.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: Below 44 years at the time of initial appointment.

Additional Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who have already completed one year of Senior Residency in any Government or Private Medical/Dental College are not eligible.

• Candidates currently working as Senior Residents in any Government Medical/Dental College in Andhra Pradesh are not eligible.

• Selected candidates must submit an affidavit confirming that they have not completed Senior Residency earlier.

Salary and Tenure

The position is strictly for one year, and selected candidates must complete the full tenure.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Merit in Post-Graduation (MDS) – including theory and practical marks.

• In case of a tie in marks, older candidate will be given preference.

• The selection committee has the authority to modify or revise conditions for final selection.

• The Senior Resident post is a one-year contractual position only.
