SSC Constable (GD) & Rifleman (GD) 2025 Recruitment – Vacancy, Salary & Selection
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 25,487 Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) posts across various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Assam Rifles. Candidates who have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized board are eligible to apply for these posts.
The online application process begins on 1 December 2025 and will continue until 31 December 2025. Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level-3, with a salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month, along with applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other benefits as per government norms.
Vacancy Details
A total of 25,487 vacancies are notified, including posts in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles (Rifleman GD), and SSF. Out of the total vacancies, 23,467 posts are for male candidates and 2,020 posts are for female candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be citizens of India and should possess the domicile certificate of the State or Union Territory mentioned in the application. Applicants must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class as on 1 January 2026. NCC certificate holders may be awarded bonus marks as per SSC rules.
