Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Range Forest Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with at least two subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry or Agriculture.

• Platoon Commander (Male): Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.

• Round Forester: Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.

• Police Constable (Male/Female), Armed Police, Driver, Greaser, Electrician, Forest Guard, Assistant Superintendent, Warden, Matron, Lascar, Escort: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Escort (Female): Secondary School Certificate or ITI course from a recognized institution.

Candidates must ensure that their qualification is obtained from a recognized board or university. Eligibility will be determined as on the last date of application.

Age Limit

The upper age limit varies by post:

• 45 years: Range Forest Officer, Platoon Commander, Assistant Superintendent, Lascar, Escort

• 35 years: Round Forester, Forest Guard

• 30 years: Warden, Matron, Constable (Greaser), Constable (Electrician)

• 28 years: Police Constable (Male/Female), Armed Police

• 25 years: Police Constable Driver

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• PwD: 10 years

• PwD (SC/ST): 15 years

• PwD (OBC): 13 years

• Government servants: Up to 5 years

• Ex-servicemen, Home Guards, Ex-Agniveers and other eligible categories: As per prevailing rules

Application Fee

Application fee depends on pay level and category.

For Level 1 to 3 posts:

For Level 4 and above posts:

Salary Structure

The salary is based on the assigned pay level:

• Level 1: Warden, Matron, Lascar, Escort

Selection Process
