Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

• 10th Pass (Matriculation/SSC) from a recognized board

• ITI certificate from a recognized institute

• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT

Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Maximum Age: 33 years

Age Relaxation

• OBC-NCL: 3 years

• SC/ST: 5 years

• PwBD: Up to 10 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years

Additional relaxations are applicable according to government rules.

Selection Process

The selection process for RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 includes the following stages:

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern

The Computer Based Test will consist of 100 questions with a duration of 90 minutes.

Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The Physical Efficiency Test is qualifying in nature.

Male Candidates

• Lift and carry 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes

• Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds

Female Candidates

• Lift and carry 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes

• Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds

Candidates must pass both tasks to qualify.
