Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply

• Only regular employees of CLW including DLW, Stores Offices, and Inspection Units can apply
• Candidates must be working in a lower grade than the applied post
• RPF/RPSF employees are not eligible

Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer (Works / P-Way):

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering

Depot Material Superintendent (DMS):

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related field)

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):

• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in relevant subject
• B.Ed from a recognized university

Selection Process

Stage 1: CBT / TBT Exam

For JE & DMS Posts:

• 150 MCQs (1 mark each)
• Duration: 120 minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3

For PGT Posts:

• 100 MCQs (1 mark each)
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3

Stage 2: Teaching Skill Test (For PGT Only)

• 100 Marks
• Final merit based on 85:15 ratio (Written + Skill Test)

How to Apply

Candidates must apply through offline mode only by following these steps:

1. Download the prescribed application form (Annexure-C) from the official notification.
2. Fill in all required details such as personal information, service details, and educational qualifications.
3. Attach a recent passport-size photograph.
4. Get the application verified and signed by the controlling authority and officer.
5. Attach self-attested copies of required documents (education, category, etc.).
6. Submit the application by dropping it in the Drop Box at Recruitment Section, Personnel Department, CLW Administrative Building, Chittaranjan – 713331.
7. Ensure submission before 08 May 2026 (5:30 PM).
