Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Kakinada has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of Senior Residents and Full-Time Specialists on a contractual basis. A total of 08 vacancies are available across multiple medical departments. Eligible candidates holding Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma can apply through offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications and experience conditions:

• Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.

• At least 2 years of working experience after completing MBBS in the relevant specialty.

• Candidates with PG Degree must have 3 years of experience after PG qualification.

• Candidates with PG Diploma must have a minimum of 5 years of experience after diploma.

• Registration with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council is mandatory.

Salary / Stipend

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,28,630 per month for both Senior Residents and Full-Time Specialists.

Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation will be applicable as per Central Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview conducted by the Selection Board.

If the number of applicants is large, the hospital may conduct a screening test or apply shortlisting criteria before interviews.

General Instructions

• Number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per hospital requirements.

• Only eligible candidates with verified documents will be allowed for interview.

• The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to cancel or reschedule interviews.

• Decision of the Selection Board will be final.

• Candidates working in government institutions must apply through proper channel.

• Selected candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

• Selected candidates may need to sign a contract agreement on Rs.100 bond paper.

• One month notice is required for termination from either side.

• The engagement is purely contractual and does not provide regularization benefits.

• No service benefits like pension, gratuity, or promotion will be applicable.

• Absence for 7 days without permission will lead to automatic termination.

• Attendance must be marked through AEBAS system and manual register.
