The Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd. (HARCO Bank) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 2 Resource Persons on a contractual basis. These positions are to support the establishment and functioning of the Business Diversification and Product Innovation Cell (BDPIC) at the Bank’s Head Office in Chandigarh.

The engagement is being made under the Cooperative Development Fund (CDF) Scheme, supported by NABARD, with the objective of developing innovative financial and non-financial products for cooperative institutions such as State Cooperative Banks, District Central Cooperative Banks, and Primary Agricultural Credit Societies.

Eligible candidates with graduation or postgraduate qualifications in relevant disciplines can apply through offline mode only. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Resource Person 1 (Preferred): Postgraduate in Business Management / Rural Management / Cooperative Management. CAIIB qualification will be an added advantage.

• Resource Person 2: Graduation in any discipline.

• Candidates with technical knowledge or diploma/degree in technology will be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in any one of the following areas:

• Rural financial institutions, NBFCs, MFIs, Insurance, Sales/Retail, or developmental organizations like NABARD or SIDBI.

• State or Central Government departments with project execution experience.

• Academic or research institutions (ICAR/CSIR) involved in rural technology development.

Former bankers with experience in rural banking and credit appraisal will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Preferred age: Below 50 years (relaxable based on experience).

• Retired/Resigned officers: Up to 65 years.

• Bank officers: Minimum Scale III/IV experience.

• Academic background: Minimum Associate Professor or equivalent.

Other Requirements

• Knowledge of Hindi or Punjabi with working knowledge of English.

• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas.

• Sound understanding of rural economy and cooperative structure.

• Execution of bond as per bank guidelines.

Salary and Remuneration

Support services such as office facilities and data entry assistance will be provided by the Bank.
