Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 Vacancy 2026 – Apply Online

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the Agniveervayu Recruitment 2026 notification for Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. This recruitment drive invites online applications from unmarried male and female Indian citizens for Agniveervayu posts in both technical and non-technical trades. Vacancy Details

The exact number of vacancies is not fixed and will be allocated state-wise based on service requirements. Final selection will be prepared on the basis of state-wise merit. The intake of female candidates will depend on operational needs of the Indian Air Force.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Science Subjects

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English, or

• Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Instrumentation, Automobile) with 50% marks, or

• Two-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics and 50% marks.

For Other Than Science Subjects

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, or

• Two-year vocational course with minimum 50% marks.

Only candidates from boards recognized by Central, State or UT governments are eligible. Exact percentage mentioned in mark sheets will be considered without rounding off.

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Maximum age at the time of enrolment should not exceed 21 years.

Salary and Benefits

Additional Benefits:

• Seva Nidhi Package of approximately ₹10.04 lakhs after 4 years

• Non-contributory Life Insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs
