IRCTC Hospitality Monitors Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for 43 Posts

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced recruitment for 43 Hospitality Monitor posts on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following full-time qualifications from recognized institutions:

• B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a recognized Institute of Hotel Management affiliated with relevant authorities

• BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from recognized institutes under the Ministry of Tourism

• B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from a recognized university

• MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from a recognized university

Freshers with the required qualifications are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. All educational qualifications must be from recognized boards or universities.

Salary and Allowances

• Monthly CTC: Rs. 30,000 (inclusive of statutory deductions)

• Daily Allowance: Rs. 350 per day for on-board train duty (percentage payable based on duty hours)

• Lodging Charges: Rs. 240 per night for outstation stay

• National Holiday Allowance: As per company policy

• Medical Insurance: Reimbursable as per policy guidelines

Age Limit

• Maximum Age for UR Candidates: 27 years (as on 21 January 2026)

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• PwBD: 10 years

• Ex-servicemen: Length of military service plus 3 years

Important Dates – Walk-in Schedule

• 17 February 2026: Bhopal

• 24 February 2026: Mumbai

• 27 February 2026: Goa

• 05 March 2026: Ahmedabad

Interviews will be conducted between 10:30 AM and 05:30 PM on the respective dates.

Selection Process

• Candidates must submit a duly filled application form at the interview venue.

• Original documents along with one set of attested copies and two passport-size photographs are required.

• Selection will be based on academic credentials and performance in the personal interview.

• A merit list will be prepared, and a reserve panel equal to 100% of vacancies may also be maintained.

• Final engagement is subject to document verification and medical fitness.

Contract Details

• The engagement is purely contractual.

• Initial contract period is two years, extendable by one year based on performance and requirement.

• The contract may be terminated by either party with one month’s notice.

• Selected candidates must deposit a security amount of Rs. 25,000 through Demand Draft.

• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

• Government or PSU employees must produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
