Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date 01 April 2026. Applicants should not have previously undergone apprenticeship training with Union Bank of India or any other organization, nor should they be currently engaged in apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Additionally, candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training or have work experience of one year or more after completing their educational qualification are not eligible for this recruitment.
Candidates applying for a particular state must be proficient in at least one local language of that state (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding). Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Online Test – Objective type exam of 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes
- Local Language Proficiency Test
Candidates who qualify the online examination based on the cut-off marks determined by the Bank will be called for document verification and the local language test. Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Stipend / Benefits
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend during the one-year training period. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided. The stipend will be credited after completion of each month, subject to deductions for unauthorized absence, if any.
Labour law provisions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employees’ State Insurance (ESI), and Bonus will not be applicable to apprentices.
